Christian, I know Patrick Conlon just sold one (patrick.conlon[at]ohiodeloreans.com). He may be able to help as to the "market" price. Just to add a little bit to what Mike said.... back in 1998 after the first DCS in Cincinnati we took a caravan of Ds to visit the KAPAC warehouse in Columbus. At that time I remember someone climbing up on a shelf to get something down for a person who was working there and on one of the shelves there was a stack of those posters about 4 to 5 inches thick. As to there where abouts now I'm not sure. I figured DMCH would have them and be selling them but I've never seen them on their site. I can only guess that they were all given away, thrown out, forgotten or thrown out due to damage. I have one but lack the wall space to display it. Maybe someday I will have my dream garage to properly frame it. Until then if someone gives me an offer I cannot refuse I may have to part with it. Re: "Presenting America's Most Talked About Car - The Delorean" Post Posted by: "Mike S." drivestainless@xxxxxxxxx drivestainless Date: Tue Mar 25, 2008 7:57 am ((PDT)) I have at least two of these that I got for free from KAPAC in Columbus, Ohio, back when they had the old factory inventory. Back then KAPAC had a huge number of them. Some were beat up but many were pristine. Had you been in the KAPAC warehouse that day you would not have thought these posters were rare! I think KAPAC also gave away free copies at one of the DOA Expos, but by then I didn't have room for more. The DeLorean Club of Ohio liked that poster so much that we had a graphic artist design a version of it to print on the backs of T-shirts and fleece tops. These were for sale at Ken Koncelik's first DeLorean Car Show (Cincinnati '98). You still see people wearing them now and then at Ken's shows. I can't remember the last time I saw one of those posters at a DeLorean event. They seem to have become a lot scarcer in the last ten years. They are, after all, extremely large and difficult to store. Perhaps today they are indeed rare. My wife and I had one professionally framed and we display it in our home office. It may have been a $350 frame on a free poster, but it was worth it. I don't know the going value for these posters, but if you have room I recommend them as cherished possessions. - Mike Substelny ----------------------------------------- 9a. Anyone recently purchase or sell this large poster in the last year or two? I know one sold on Ebay last Oct and I've already been in touch with that seller. Just trying to get an idea of what the "market" is for this rare poster. Any help would be awesome!
