[DML] Re:rusty DMC dual exhaust

If you have the same exhaust on your car that I have on mine (installed in late 2005 for the Stage II performance engine) then you have the Sterling cover from Jet Hot.  I have the same problem that you do; my pipes and headers are getting rust spots all over them.
   
  Jet Hot provides a three year warranty on that coating.  I'm actually taking my car in tomorrow to my local shop to have the headers and pipes removed and shipped to Jet Hot for a one time recoat.  The original coating they offered two years ago (Sterling) is heat resistant to 1300 degree F.  They now offer something called Extreme Sterling that is heat resistant to 1700 degrees.  Since my pipes are going in for the one time recoat they will apply the Extreme Sterling instead of the base Sterling for a $50 upgrade fee.
   
  This may be an option for you if you purchased your pipes from DMCH in the last couple of years.
