Hello, I've sorted out my fuel problems thanks to several people on the list. Thank you all for your help thus far. We have been driving the car around a bit and having fun (though I did get pulled over already). I'm ready to address another problem. Neither of my power windows work. When I hit the switch my lights dim a bit, so I think that tells me that the switches are working. I don't hear the motors trying to do anything though. I am pretty sure the motors are OE. I have read that they are prone to failure. Is there something else to check besides the motors themselves? Should I just assume that both my motors have failed and replace them? I would like to test them before I drop the cash if there is a simple test that can be preformed. I think I could just apply 12 volts to the right connection on the harness coming out of the motor; as this would bypass my wiring, any relays, switches, and such, and determine if the motor is shot. Does anyone know which wire gets power to roll the window down? Any thoughts on replacement motors or other ideas concerning my windows? The car is an 81. Thank you.
