How do I know who is an expert on this list? Yeah, it's a problem. I figure that even though it's "at your own discretion and risk," the risk is less if more people see and review. What we really need is AN OFFICIAL REVISED MANUAL, authored or at least reviewed and approved by one or major vendor. I discussed it at various times with several vendors. I've been saying that since 2000, but for various reasons, nobody has done it. They "don't see a need." DMC Texas has several still-unprinted service bulletins, but declined to make them available when I requested them. James sent me a copy of one, but that was it. I've even gathered the materials to do the basic draft myself, but it's not a quick afternoon project. That's actual ly why I set up the DMCTech site several years ago, so several experts might review and respond. Many people complaining too at that time, nobody actually wanted to do anything. At least this time some folks have set up wikis. There are of course other sites with tech info, but nothing comprehensive. A little here, a little there. There needs to be one spot which at least indexes all the various websites. Still, a manual would be the best. (Please don't write and tell me to "buy the manual." I have at least 30, including several original copies of each, even handwritten tech training notes predating the manuals, the out of print manuals, the service bulletins, and the unrevised and sometimes inaccurate vendor reprints.)
