No, my comments refer to F Series. Check out the vacuum hose diagrams in the Files section of the Yahoo website: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews/files/Other%20PRV%20Literature/ There are significant differences between Volvo E and F Series: - No Lambda - Different CPR (plumbed differently for full throttle vacuum enrichment) - Different injectors - No EGR (our DeLoreans don't have it either -- that's what the plate on the U Pipes caps off) - Early E Series had no CIS, a single piece fuel/air mixture unit, and a short throttle plate arm with only one screw (no provision for a CIS microswitch) Message #74165 notes differences between Volvo F Series, already approved for US import, and DeLorean's particular modifications. And my question remains: Why? It seems to introduce too many problems. It also flattens the advance curve, leading to reduced performance. DMC would have been better off just dropping in stock Volvo units.
