Social. I met Knut and Melinda due to a social event and have been to a few tech events they have hosted, social events too. I thoroughly enjoy them but more for the social aspects. Can't have too many friends. Kevin Abato <delorean@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Before I ask the question, keep in mind, there is no right or wrong answer. I am simply looking for personal views and preferences. Preface: I love my Delorean. I love it unconditionally. My wife an I attended our first DCS in 2006, and going again in 08. We are both highly active in the DMA (yeah...shocker to most of the community....). And I have to say that I (personally) love not just the tech part of events, but more so the social aspect. We have made many close friends, and often hear that people like DMA events due to the good balance between tech and social aspect. (Many wives come to every event and have a blast!). Often we don't even talk about the cars since many have gotten to know each other on such a personal level! We talk about life, family, work, etc. And even get together for social gatherings or talk outside of events (about non-DMC stuff). So, the question I pose (again: your opinions....no "right" or "wrong" answers): Which do you take more pleasure in at a Delorean event: Tech or social? And why? I am sure people will want to say "both" but let's keep it interesting and "pretend" you had to choose one based on your preference over the other. Just curious. ;) Kevin Abato Vin# 16680 www.grenexmedia.com Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Chris 06301 Find me on Google Earth 45°43'03.24"N 123°53'45.81"W --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals?
