I forgot to sign the last one. Please use this one. I know many of you are aware of it but for those that are not, the Concourse competition was radically changed to a certification process last year. It is similar to what the very successful Bloomington Gold event for the Corvette is. The best thing about it is that if your car achieves the points needed to reach Stainless, Gold, or Silver status you are judged against the manual and not other cars so several can get the certification level at an event if achieved. If they are all great cars then they all could be certified stainless. Our goal is for this to be a value added to a car in the marketplace such as it is for many other marque. Those that watch Barrett-Jackson know they always mention if a car has a certified status. Also, some modifications can exist on the car and if it is very good condition otherwise you may still reach a certified status. At the last event a car achieved gold status I believe and had the eibach suspension. It all depends on how well you score in other areas. So don't think your car has to be absolutely perfect to compete. Review the manual on the concours web site and evaluate what deductions might be taken on your car. Marc I think the engine swap might be a little too large of a deduction.
