Re: [DML] read the manual?:was Leaving the group

I have the parts manual, the workshop manual, and (as of yesterday)
the technical manual, and I can attest to this. There's contradictory
information between the manuals, and a lot of the information has
since been updated by various folks, among them DeLorean Motor Center.
Plus Volvo literature includes handy stuff for the B28F engine,
post-1983. Fortunately the Internet is a good resource for this
information, but not everyone knows where to look.

I'm one of those people who learns hands-on and visually. Sure, I read
the manuals, and exploded views help, but they're not as informative
as getting my hands dirty.

I'll pass the following tip along in case it helps other people who
are more visual, like me: Take a whole bunch of photos of the car from
every angle -- stick your camera into nooks and crannies where your
head can't go, upside down, from above, front, back, underneath ...
everything you can think of. Keep these photos handy -- like on a USB
stick in your pocket, or on a laptop computer if you have one. The
photos will be a handy reference for your own troubleshooting, as well
as anyone you'd want to help.
