A local member of the DeLorean Midwest Connectiob club, who just happened to be the winner of the strut bar that Peter gave away in the raffle at Pigeon Forge, really likes his bar. He even had a local carpet man make a special trunk carpet that has a pocket built into it to go over the bar. I have not seen this carpet but I'll try to get a look at it soon. With such an arrangement you still have a carpeted trunk and the bar actually provides a nice "stop" to help keep things from sliding around in the trunk. Perhaps others might be interested in such a carpet if the price is right. I'll see what I can find out about it and will let the list know. Of course if you don't want to cut the original carpet its easy enough to get a new piece of similar looking carpet to use and set your original on the side.
