I remember rooms being an issue in Chicago.  Many people waited till the last minute and then stayed at the "backup" hotel that was 25 min. away from the show and had to go back and forth (what a pain!).   Thankfully I had booked my room WAY in advance that year.

During Sat night dinner at DCS06, they announced the location, date, and phone number to book Gettysburg.  I called right there and then, and had to wait 35 min for the phone line at gettysburg to be available.  Many people obviously called and booked right away that night.

Basically, with a 24 hour cancellation policy, why not do it!?  You can back out the day before the show and not loose anything.

I too have heard that Ken might be limiting registration for the show to only guests at the hotel.   I don't know if that is the case or not, but I am sure in the next few months, and CERTAINLY weeks before the show, people who waited too long will be frantic to get rooms.

I reserved my room back in the beginning of August and even then the rooms
were down to pretty slim pickings, lol.
