It might not be the angle drive itself. Pull the left, front wheel and inspect the hole in the center of the plastic drive disc. If the hole is not square, the square cable from the angle drive will slip. The drive disc itself can also slip. Sometimes a wrap or 2 of electrical tape around the outside edge will prevent the disc from slipping between the spindle and the wheel. I will guess that you don't have an RPM/MPH conversion table for your electric car yet! At least if you get the speedometer going it will work EVEN IF YOU RUN OUT OF ELECTRIC!
