Oh please: can you imagine a Porshe owner shrugging off squeaks and creaks as "character", much less a Cadillac or Lincoln owner? The DeLorean cost *MORE* than those luxury/performance makes. If our little silver cars are squeaking and creaking, perhaps they belie a much cheaper pedigree hiding under their inflated price tags. I have 5 Lincolns of similar (1977-1979) vintage. They do not squeak or creak.
