Actually, I was considering doing just that -- but for the wipers. A friend who restored an old Datsun Z28 sanded the paint off of those wipers, then primed them and sprayed them with a few coats of flat black Krylon. They looked great, but I would prefer shiny to flat. :-) What kind of paint did you use?
