In every show there was some sort of judging - admittedly not all concours - but more of the people' choice. In not a single one of them were there any divisions by mileage. These shows also do not have all of the same car. Most show I go to have (and I will use the Evansville show as an example) classes of cars based on years and if there are a bunch of one type of car they give their own class. Its not fair to have one trophy for a car when you have cars with little usage on them competing with cars that have over 100K on them This seems to work quiet well since about 90 people choose to enter. And its nice to win an award. The cars have over the years gotten much better. Yes you are correct you will not find many if any car shows that go by mileage but you will also not find a car that is made of stainless with gullwing doors that is not painted competing against itself. Isn't it nice to have a unique car. Ken **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.
