An automatic Delorean is a little bit quiter than a 5-speed. If you think yours is noisy because of the trasnmission then you may have a problem with it. Maybe it isn't the transmission, maybe you need new door seals? Check the fluid level, maybe the transmission is trying to tell you something! Also check the level in the final drive.
