For U-Haul, just tell 'em it's a Chevy Cavalier or something similar - all they care about is weight. They don't want you hauling a dump truck. If you tell them DeLorean the problem is that it won't show up in their wieght book so they just turn you down. The bigger deal is that U-Haul won't rent trailers to people pulling them with Ford Explorers.
