I personally think they used it because it was a cool car, and they had the excuse. I'd be surprised if it ever saw a lot of "official" work, more like Detective Brown signing it out for the day when he was going to stop by his sons soccer practice... ________________________________ From: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Hank Sent: Friday, October 05, 2007 4:40 AM To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [DML] Re:Getting a Title I think you're confusing "undercover" with "stakeout" or "surveillance". It actually makes sense to use a D for undercover work. If they were trying to bust another drug ring, and the cops shows up in a D, it is a pretty good cover to fool the perps. That is, until word hits the street that the cops are using a delorean. But if they used it for three years, it must have been working well for them. -Hank #1619 [moderator snip] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
