That is the biggest problem in the AC system. Good luck on getting the old
one out and the replacement in. I have my theory as to why it's this way but
the new evaporators we make eliminated the problem. Sorry I can solve the
problem your having now.

I'm running an original Evaporator, which means the
high line with the orifice tube in it is slightly
bent. This naturally makes the orifice tube bend
slightly as well. Does this bending of the orifice
tube affect performance of the AC at all? Things a
bugger to get in there without breaking.
