There is still a concern over how content will be edited on a "vendor supported" forum. Again, I can see how this is a benefit to the vendors, but not so good for free information flow. DMCTalk.com is a good alternative for people who prefer the web based format over e-mail. Vendors could just as easily spend some time answering questions over there. As I see it, the DML and DMCTalk are the 2 primary DeLorean discussion areas on the Internet. It is not useful to have discussions that apply to the masses distributed across multiple forums (That includes club forums as well). The DMA does have their own mailing list, but the content is primarily discussions specific to our geographical area, or club members. I agree, I too don't have time to monitor all of the different lists... Which is why we do not need another, and what started this thread in the first place! :) So, all you east coast people... come to the DMA Fall foliage tour, there is a "good chance of a Stage III car" being there!!! http://www.deloreanmidatlantic.com/events/FallTour2007/falltour2007.htm James; I'd appreciate if you could also post it to the DMA mailing list. Thanks again for the opportunity to plug! :) --- James <james@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > As evidenced by my late reply here, I simply don't > have time to > monitor and reply to messages on all the different > lists and forums > that are out there. > > I, for one, have grown less and less fond of the DML > format, and find > the DMChelp.com style easier to keep track of and > follow.
