silverstars are also made to replace the whole housing... I have them on my 66 mustang and the jeep... Most auto parts stores carry them -----Original Message----- From: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of daviddlasvegas Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2007 10:23 PM To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DML] Headlights - confused on how to change bulbs!!! When I previously asked about headlights, most people here recommened the Sylvania Silver Stars. That's cool, but the Silver Stars are just bulbs. The headlights on my DMC are Sylvania Sealed Beam Halogens. You can't just change the bulbs. The bubls are welded into the housing, and the housing is permanently sealed. The wires that come out of the car have a female plug with 3 holes. The back of the headlight housings have a male end with 3 prongs. So how the heck do I just change the bulbs? I'd need new housings that allow bulb changes or something.
