Spending money you don't have is beyond stupid. But people do it all the time with SUVs and Pickup Trucks that get into those price ranges. Although most time it's usually a two-income household. Now to play devils advocate, you'd be surprised just how many people can actually afford cars like this. How? They live in older, or rual houses that are already paid off. So with no monthly mortgage, that extra money goes for paying off expensive cars and trucks. Take a drive through the country by-ways and you'd be amazed just what you see. On Highway 13 in Mississippi I found some older house with a couple of lawn mowers rusting in the front yard, and a C5 Corvette parked under a tree, covered in dirt with tall grass growing up around it's flat tires. Kinda neat to see some future barn-find in the making. But the point is that people's ability to afford things can't always be based upon their income. -Robert vin 6585 "X" To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
