The goal of this Inspection Workshop & BBQ is to have a Professional DeLorean Technician inspect each car and give you an overall analysis of its condition. Rob Grady will be inspecting certain critical areas of the cars to make sure they are safe and in good working condition. These cars are 25 years old and require constant attention and upkeep. Time permitting and provided the necessary pre-registration forms are filled out (please email me for the forms at delorean12@xxxxxxxxxxx), he will also inspect specific areas of concern that you may have with your car (i.e. rough idle, fluid leak, stiff clutch, intermittent cool fan operation, etc.). With so many DeLorean owners present, this is a great time to take advantage of Rob?s discount offer as well as other owner?s knowledge and experience. During the Inspections there will be plenty of time to work on those small projects you have been putting off. The facility is equipped with an automotive lift, jack stands, jacking blocks, floor jack, etc. There will be limited access to tools as well, however, we encourage you to bring your own. Some of the projects in the works are?repainting the rear louvers; repainting wheels in light gray; installing seat covers; and door alignment / adjustment for a small nominal fee. Having worked on DeLoreans since their introduction in 1981, Rob Grady has proven his passion for the preservation of these automobiles. The DeLorean Motor Club of New England is honored to have him present and share his knowledge of these cars with us. Therefore, we encourage you to support him in keeping this passion alive by purchasing products directly from www.PJGRADY.com. Rob has graciously offer a 10% discount on any parts ordered and will bring them with him the day of the event. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soda will be available for lunch. There will be a Lunch BBQ on site so if you want something special, just bring enough to share!!!! To end the day, and depending on how long the inspections take, we can go to http://www.twinriver.com/ entertainment and gaming facility for dinner, drinks and a little gambling. It is located approximately 10 mins. away for the tech garage. There will be access to bathroom and shower facilities at the tech garage if you plan on attending the evening dinner. Due to the fact that we DO NOT charge any Membership Fees or Event Fees, and all our activities and event are on a volunteer basis, we need to cover Rob's costs for attending the show. ALL MONEY will go directly to Rob for his hotel, food, gas, time and effort. Remember, this is one person doing inspections all day!!
