See you all again soon!!! > Well done Ken, the Dauer Museum visit and brunch was a fine event and a real pleasure to be a part of. The reporter from the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel seemed really happy with everything I told him about the cars in general, as well as some of my own specific history with VIN#1662 and how I first came to own it. Can't wait to see the article, he said it would probably run on Saturday. It was great to meet some new (well, new to ME anyway) local Delorean owners, and a wonderful surprise that Toby & Misty from DMCNW could join us Florida folk after coincidentally coming off of their vacation cruise from Miami. I was especially surprised by the genuine warmth and openness from the Rolls Royce crowd - I know we've discussed inviting them to come out and display with us at the Florida Delorean Festival in November alongside all the Deloreans, 50's cars, and such, and I now find myself liking the idea more and more. If we can get the "Arthur" Rolls to come again, and one or more BTTF tricked-out Deloreans, I have a friend in Boca Raton who can continue the sub-theme of TV/Movie cars by bringing his Batmobile (a really NICE one built on the rare original 50s Lincoln chassis, not one of the many crappy Barris knock-offs...) Anyway, to everyone who came out to the museum on Sunday, I hope to see you in Winter Park, and then in Fort Lauderdale, and maybe even just on I-95 from time to time ;-) Dan Harris - VIN#1662 - Florida "IMAGINE" Tag# TIME CAR To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
