My brake servo vacuum hoses are looking bad; especially now that they've been disconnected (with significant effort) from the parts that they attach to. I have some good silicone vacuum hose lying around that will fit, but have to wonder: is there a reason (other than being 26 years old) that these original vacuum hoses are so tough? Will regular vacuum hose work in this application or would that be asking for trouble when it becomes time to test the brakes? Thanks!
