My insurance is up for renewal so I am getting quotes from several companies. Right now I have Hagerty and they have a 2,500 mile limit. The best quote so far is Grundy and they have no mileage limit. Not all that important since I don't put a lot of mileage on it anyway but they are offering a higher "Agreed Value" and the premium is STILL lower than Hagerty! I encourage everyone to compare quotes from several insurance companies before renewing. Of course the situation will vary among individuals and States. Also be aware that the value of Deloreans is going up so you may be under-insured. Make sure you set your "Agreed Value" to what it will realistically cost to replace your car in the event of a total loss. As per a recent article in Hemmings Motor News (September 07 issue page 36) an "NOS" origional, low mileage car can go for as much as $50,000 with nice drivers going for $25,000 to $35,000.
