No one is claiming they are the same company. I have been around here as long as you have and as long as DMCH has been around. I have never seen them make any statements even hinting that they were the same company. Frankly only a fool would even think they were. I mean where have they been for 24 years? No new cars have been introduced in 24 years. Would anyone think Ford were still around if the last model was that long ago? Also you always try and separate those 2 ideologies. Ok their only true "responsibility" is to make a profit, but is it not in their best interest to also carry on a legacy to ensure their own future profitability? Also why is Houston any worse than NJ for a museum? Just because he lived there for a time does not make it an ideal place. If you really want the museum somewhere honest to goodness then it should be in Ireland, or Detroit where he was born? And I always sign my posts as well as have it at the top of every message I send. We need your memorabilia for our exhibit! While that is all true, they are NOT the company that John DeLorean started. I find it amazing that anyone would treat the company in Texas as anything other than what it is.. A BUSINESS. Their sole "responsibility" is to make a profit, not carry on any legacy. Not that it is a bad thing, but don't make them in to something they are not. And, if you are going to direct comments at me you should have the decency to use a real name.
