For those that were following my dead fuel pump problems, here's what I found in the tank: The screen at the end of the pickup hose had broken apart on one side leaving little bits of yellow chunks of glue that was used on the filter screen on the bottom of the tank and a big hole on the side of the screen base allowing anything big to go up to the pump. Probably the chunks of glue went up to the pump and killed it. My tank didn't have any gunk or sludge type stuff in there only the chunks of glue. I'm still going to wipe out the tank with cleaner and it sounds like I should change out my fuel filter again. Thanks for all the help.
