RE: [DML] When to pull over?

If you have never driven on snow or ice in a rear wheel drive car, I
wouldn't learn in your new baby. The interstates usually stay ok, but
they will likely use salt. If you drive on salted roads give the car
and the undercarriage a nice fresh water rinse before parking the car in
the garage.

In the end, follow your instincts and watch the weather channel.

Hey, if your lucky the car won't really be ready till June anyway,
especially if its getting a new headlight switch or a dash... (Just
kidding James)

Well, I did it. Yup, put a deposit on a refurb'd D from DMCH. Gonna get
all the candy, have it pimped, er, loaded...

In any case, thanks for all the patience with all my questions, it
really helped me decide to go with a D rather than the Rolls Royce
Silver Shadow I was wanting. ;-)

In any case, I'll be driving it back from DMCH after it's finished
(March time frame 2008). I keep reading that the Delorean isn't a 4WD
vehicle, so when do you actually abandon driving it? If I encounter
rain or some snow on my way to Colorado (both are possible), when do I
pull over and sit it out? Rain? A little snow? Or if I'm a careful
driver (which I am in spades), will I be OK?
