I have a heavy compass mirror in my car as well, and it has been holding okay. I used a PLASTIC mirror mounting button from Pep Boys. It is the type with a bunch of little square holes in it. Then, I used 3M Window Weld (urethane windshield adhesive) to mount the button to the glass on the black square. You have to squeeze a bunch through the little square holes, and overlap the rim of the button. When dry, the excess is easily trimmed with a razor blade. It work fine, and in a hard bump, it does simply come off the glass, but has held fine in normal use. -Dave & Juley VIN #05927 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
