Probably a year ago, or more, Kevin Heller let me have a can of R12 that he had no use for. The old can of Freon still had the Hill's price label on it showing the cost to be $3.48. I have owned my refurbished DeLorean for over six years and the AC seemed not to be as cold as when "new". My local mechanic still had the old hoses and pressure meters used to service R12 systems. Adding the one 12 ounce can of Freon brought back my very cold air. This is the first addition to the system in six years. When I ordered my car I questioned whether to have the system converted to 134a and was advised not to do so. I am glad that I took the advice and stuck with the R12. I have a 1978 Eldorado that was converted to 134a and it has been nothing but trouble. Thanks Kevin for making the R12 available. Rod 10921 --------------------------------- Need a vacation?
