Although I'm not a D owner at all, I suspect that since the A/C cooled faster on NORMAL than MAX, that the sunlight was heating up the A/C vents/pipes. In virtually all cars I've ever owned, a MAX setting means the car recycles the air inside the cabin, as opposed to the NORMAL setting that draws in outside air. If your MAX setting is warmer than NORMAL, I think that the vents/pipes were right near the dash and getting unusually heated up in the sunlight, causing the A/C to be warmer. Switching to NORMAL diverted the air draw from vents elsewhere than the dash, so was cooler. Just a guess, no flames please from the experienced Delorean owners... --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, R Holden <royceholden@...> wrote: > > On a 730 mile trip from NJ to NC, I noticed that when > the sun was beating down on the front window, it > seemed to cause the Delorean interior to become alot > hotter.
