[DML] Re: DeLorean mentioned in two car magazines (August 2007 issues)

List,

Too much time in airports and on planes lately has had a side
benefit of seeing DeLorean mentioned in two publications.

Two references to the DeLorean appeared in two mainstream car
magazines for the August 2007 issues.  One was more of a BTTF
reference, while the other was reported by John Lamm.

The BTTF reference was in Car and Driver, pages 44 and 46.
Article was called "Enemy of the State" and the topic is about
a guy in Decatur IL who runs his cars on veggie oil.  Of course
they make a Doc Brown reference for one car on page 44:

"In short, it doesn't look a bit like Doc Brown's jury-rigged
DeLorean in Back to the Future".

On page 46, they use "Back to the Future II" as the heading for
a photo in the article.

The second reference was in Road and Track, page 56 by John Lamm.
The article is about the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.

Quote from article:

"Sickest option is the brushed stainless steel hood, which is
insulated from the aluminumfenders to avoid electrolysis.  There's
a DeLorean in the company's test fleet to gauge how such a brushed
finish weathers".

I'm sure there are plenty of DeLorean owners here that can tell RR
how well brushed stainless panels hold up over 25 years or more.
