Our 1981 Delorean has not been driven in 6 years (in storage). Trying to get it going again. Engine runs only after cranking for a few seconds then dies. All fuses are OK. Checked RPM relay to force fuel pump to run and seems to keep fuel system pressureized and enough flow thru the fuel filter while cranking. Pressure seems to remain OK at the injectors. Changed the idle speed regulator and no help. Also checked for spark using a timing light at coil HV output and at the plugs. Keeps firing while the engine is cranking and while it is dieing. Also checked the Thermo Time Switch function by grounding the black blue wire. Still would run and then die. No change. Any clues as to what to troubleshoot next? Is it time to get a pressure gauge and verify the 75 PSI in the system?
