He had actually never had a good look at the car, and was previously unaware of where they were used. The firm closed a few years ago, and the machines that made them were scrapped. At that time, he recalls the firm still had 'several boxes' that had never been opened. Each 'box' held 100 bars. They were all skipped when the firm closed...... Not helpful I know, but you should have seen his face when I told him how much they were worth in the DeLorean community!
