As a side note, the DMC clutch IS a pretty stiff clutch. I once worked at a quick lube where I drove pretty much every kind of car made in the last twenty years. The only thing that came close to the stiffness of a DMC clutch was a big Ford dump truck. Maybe it's now acting 'normal'. Andy In a message dated 6/19/2007 5:32:44 P.M. When my clutch started to wear out I had Danny at DMC replace the clutch, and when I drove it out of the shop it was as soft as butter. Within ½ mile though it suddenly got stiff again. He has offered to take a look at it, but I've had no time to get back down there.
