Cruising the Strip in Las Vegas is going to be a difficult task. 1. How many people have cars that are ready to idle in heavy traffic for about and hour and a half? (time assumed driving from the Famous Las Vegas sign, to Sahara Ave on a Saturday night). 2. How comfortable would you be driving that stretch of road? HEAVY traffic, rude taxi drivers, jay-walking pedestrians almost everywhere, and only about 6"- a foot of clearance on each side of you. It is honestly hell if you're not 100% comfortable with your car. If you drive the strip, you do it to look cool, and nothing else. Trust me, you will NOT be able to sight-see much, no matter what kind of car you're driving. But if you're in a DeLorean and panic easily, it will NOT be a fun driving cruise for you. Maybe on an off-night, or after hours it might just work... Hoover Dam is definetly a possiblity. On the Arizona side, they do have a large parking lot that *might* fit all the cars. I say might depending upon how many show up, and if the parking area is still available due to ongoing construction. There are LOTS of places to tour around town. The key is just going to be finding what interests everyone which can be done. If there is a culinary outing to be desired, believe me, fresh factory made chocolate from Ethel M. would be much better than wine. No minimum age, and everyone loves chocolate and fruit candies! Racetracks, car factory tours, beautiful desert vistas, gorgeous sunsets, infinate photo opprotunities..., you name it and it's there. Gaming is only a small fraction of what's available there. Although yes, there are Back to the Future slots available in some casinos if you're feeling lucky! ;) -Robert vin 6585 "X" --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Tom Tait" <TTait@...> wrote: > > Even the initial info on DCS West looks great The turnout should be > spectacular. > > http://www.deloreancarshow.com/dcswest/ > > What are you guys thinking as far as the cruise or cruises?
