Lube the hinges, clean any junk and leave out of the hinge/torsion bar area, and use a bit of silicon based spray lube on your door seals. These will help. I put new door struts on my car - top quality. The passenger side works ok (just ok not perfect). The driver door doesn't work well at all. You have to manually lift the door up. Once the doors are up they stay up just fine. But I've seen cars that you pull the door handle up and the entire door goes "woooooooooooooooooosh" and springs open the whole way by itself. I've already confirmed my cross bars are ok and not broker. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
