[DML] Re: Possibly dropped copper washer from fuel line into engine cylinder



The washer is large enough, hard enough, and has a high enough 
melting temperature to do serious damage. I think you want to be 
sure it's not in there. If only copper was magnetic!

In any case, to look for it, borrow or buy a borescope. Don't assume 
that if you find a washer like it in the valley that you have found 
the one you dropped as it is very common to drop these things and 
you may have several in the valley right now.
