(Moderators Note: Dani B. is correct. I happen to be at the DMC Midwest Open House Event today and we just took a washer and placed it into an injector port on one of the new crate engines sitting in the back. The washer will not fit all the way down thru the injector hole to get into the cylinder head. It has to be somewhere else. Marty, this weeks moderator) If a few grains of sand can damage an engine, a copper washer would be even worse. I don't think that the washer could fit down the injector ports, so it's more likely that just dropped it into the "valley of death" below the intake manifold. I know I've got 2-3 of those washers sitting down there myself... -----Dani B. #5003 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
