Agreed. Aside from it being the right part or not, Pep boys won't have this in stock anyway. It will take just as long for them to get it in as it will for you to order it from a DMC vendor. Plus they might not accept a return since it is special-order if it doesn't work. And even if it DOES work, why would someone want to change fuel pressures or modify their fuel distributor to make it work right?? Talk about making the car impossible to service in the future! Remember - it makes no business sense to stock slow-moving items unless you have no additional cost to storing them and maintaining them (Paying someone to take inventory once a week). Why would they tie their inventory dollars up in a part that they won't sell for 10 years? They will have to get it from a central warehouse.
