The longer the better but it will not clean them up inside. You really have to put them into the injector tester/cleaner to get the opening (cracking) pressures right and a nice spray pattern. Most used injectors CAN be cleaned but every so often you come across one that just won't work right and has to be replaced. Acetone won't damage the injector, just remove the seal, that will melt. Mineral sprits WILL clean them up, not soaking in it, pushing it through the injector under high flow and pressure. If you do not have the right injectors in the car don't waste time cleaning them. Just get new ones. If you do not have the right injectors you now have to wonder what else is not right. Check the #'s on the Fuel Distributer, Control Pressure Regulator, A/F unit, etc. Don't try to set the motor up with the wrong parts, you will pull your hair out and never get it to work the way it should. There is a reason for every specific part that has a specific application. As long as you can get the "right" part you should NOT use a part that is not meant to be used. Price the parts at your favorite Delorean vendor. On many Bosch parts you might be surprised that they are cheaper than anywhere else (like your nearby Volvo dealer). If you need it in a hurry just pay for premium shipping. David Teitelbaum vin 10757 -- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Sweet, Paul" <paul.sweet@...> wrote: > > One more question.
