Hey everyone, I'm selling a delorean for a guy and am having a problem with the VIN number. I forgot to get the number while I was there the other day so I gave him a call and asked him what it is. He told me SCEDT26T9DD020001. It is a 1983. I can't get that VIN number to work on carfax or carsoup. I've called him three times and he's read me the number from the frame of the car and on the title, they both match what I have written down and have read back to him but it is coming up as invalid. Do you see an obvious problem with that number?? I am sure I'm hearing what he's reading me correctly as we've gone over every single letter and number repeatedly to make sure we both had it right! LOL I told him that just can't be it because it's not working and he swears it is and has compared it to the title like I said. He's going to send me a picture of it so I can see for myself but I do believe him anyway.. So..what the heck? :) Thanks!
