If you want to use any other engine, your going to have to have a custom bellhousing made, among other things. This is one of the reasons the eagle premier 3.0's are the most common engine swaps, They're PRVs, so after you swap the lower crankcase with the D one, they do bolt right in. However just 'bolting in' another engine is the easy part. Getting everything else connected, making the stock computer work, or an aftermarket one (like megasquirt), etc, is much more of a pain.
