That may help and oiling the hinges and lubricating the locks could also help. You can also put a drop of oil on the ends of the struts where they fit over the balls on the anchors. Try not to overadjust the torsion bars just to get the doors to pop open all the way. The doors should NEVER bounce on opening. It puts too much stress on the roof structure and when I see it it makes me cringe.
