Your local auto parts store (Autozone for sure) should stock 3M Double stick auto trim tape. Make sure you get the stuff with the red backing - that indicated their VHB (Very High Bond) product line - its serious stuff. Its been holdoing moldings on my car very firmly, albeit for a year now. I also used it to reposition a much heavier BSM on a friends Volvo - that moulding had been hanging off for years, was warped and deformed and was very difficult to even push back into position, but once the tape grabbed it - it held beautifully. ________________________________ From: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of allante932003 Sent: Monday, April 09, 2007 8:32 AM To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DML] side molding any one replaced side molding lately any sugestions on the strongest best adhesive to use. thanks 3496 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
