Isn't PJ Grady an independent also?

Also I figure I'll speak my peace. About 20 years ago I was told to use
only the Purflux oil filters. It was determined at that time, premature
camshaft failure was occurring due to Fram filters being used. It was
pointed out that the Engine Block has the anti drainback valve and a
pressure relief valve. The Fram filter had both and the Purflux had
non. This equated to better oil flow to the camshafts. I've always
used the Purflux since then.
