If I remember right, they mentioned a couple of things that were preventing final release of the movie: 1. The movie was not 100% completed. I think there were additional interviews they were trying to get from other cast members. 2. The costs to get the project done were the biggest road block. For each piece of footage from the movies that are used, you have to pay a fee to Universal Studios. I don't remember the exact price per clip/time segment, but there were many clips from the movie in the documentary and a rough calculation based on the info they gave put the production costs extremely high. I too would love to see this documentary again and own it on DVD. Kevin Abato Vin# 16680 -----Original Message----- From:Hank Subject: [DML] 'Looking Back at the Future' DVDs? At DCS 06, after the screening of "Looking Back at the Future", the filmmakers were taking names for a mailing list when the DVD would be released and sold. They were also taking pre-orders. So I gave them $20 and wrote my name and address in his notebook. He added a star next to my info to denote that I had pre-paid. I've heard nothing since then, not even any info on the actual DVD release.
