Fixing the shift computer, aka auto tranny governor, can be a hit-or-miss kind of thing. I have done several myself (maybe many) and I too have had some either not work or soon go bad. The true test of a vendor is not his price but how he stands behind his work. I am glad to hear it turned out good for you.
