Changing the trans fluid and filter is a good start. The real problem is most likely a malfunctioning shift computer. If you find a lot of friction materiel and metal in the pan fixing the shift computer won't help much. After changing the filter and fluid do all of the external "on car" adjustments and check the level as per the Workshop Manual. Don't forget to also check the final drive. Car has been sitting for years and shifted once on a test drive. Any ideas? I will be changing the fluid and filter this weekend. > > --------------------------------- > Any questions?
