And when JZD spoke at DCS 2000, he was working on a new project that used the Nissan engine as the power plant. http://www.youtube.com/deloreanmidatlantic So, I guess my Nissan powered DMC is OK? It is what John was working on anyway. The only thing that makes a DeLorean with a well done engine conversion worth less than a stock DeLorean is people who claim to be (or simply act like) an authority on DeLoreans says so, and turns off potential buyers. To date, all "DeLorean authorities" are self proclaimed, and only gain credibility when the masses believe them. I will however agree with Dave T that in general, cars (all cars) are worth more unmodified. However, that generalization is self perpetuation. As others have stated, there are many "custom cars" out there that demand lots more than their "stock" counterparts. This whole discussion is like when someone says a concours car is "the best", so you can read my arguments on that topic and apply it here. --- Murray Fisher <murrayfw@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > FWIW DEpt.
